Download IOBit Password Folder (link at bottom) and install this application.
When you run the program the first time, you are asked to set a password. This password is later used to run the program, uninstall it, and for unhiding or unlocking any password protect folders and files.

Lock Or Password Protect Folders

For locking folders or files on your PC, open Windows Explorer and simply drag and drop them onto IOBit Password Folder. Or click on ‘Add’ and then browse and add folders and files.
As you drag folders from Windows Explorer into IOBit Password Folder, you will notice that they disappear immediately from the Explorer.

Unlock Folders, Files

In order to unlock open IOBit Password Folder, select all those folders or files that you want to unlock from the list by checking each of them and then click ‘Unlock’. You will be required to enter the password that you have set up initially.
